Winners 2022
ELA Award 2022, Project of the Year goes to: Socamil E.Leclerc / Witron France, the winner of Rois de la Supply Chain 2022, the most prestigious logistics prize in France, from the “Supply Chain Magazine”.
The award was given for the fully automated omnichannel / multi-temperature distribution center in Calstelnaudery and was designed and implemented by the logistics lifetime partner WITRON. The core innovation is the world debut FPM (Flow Picking Machinery), a fully automated “flow-through warehouse” for the complete range of fresh and ultra-fresh products. FPM was described by the jury as a paradigm shift in the supply chain of French fresh produce logistics.
The 2022 edition of ELA Awards took place on November 23 at Residence Palace, in Brussels and the winner was selected by a jury composed of high-level logistics practitioners from the retail, industry, consultancy, service providers and academic sectors.
There were 5 finalists projects, listed below in alphabetical order:

- Portugal – MC Sonae
- Spain – COFARES
- Switzerland – KEMARO AG
In the second part of the event, took part the conference LOGISTICS FOR EUROPE towards more resilient and competitive supply chains organized by 3 professional assciations: CLECAT, ESC and ELA.
The event addressed the growing pressure on trade to keep cargo moving in a sustainable and efficient way at times of the energy crisis. In addition, during the event the speakers discussed about the changes that have occurred in the container shipping market in recent years, and how changes to the competition rules can restore trust and confidence in the container shipping industry, which is vital to the European business and consumers.
The Logistics for Europe event was a joint event, demonstrating the need for more collaboration between parties in the logistics supply chain and to move forward in completing the internal market to ensure the EU remains a competitive and sustainable place for logistics.
