Project of the Year 2024 : La Poste/Via Poste & Shippeo submitted by France Supply Chain by Aslog.
Paris, France – October 4, 2024 – Shippeo, the global leader in real-time transportation visibility, and La Poste France are thrilled to announce that their joint project, “Real-Time Visibility Control Tower,” has won the highly coveted European Logistics Project of the Year at the ELA Awards 2024 on October 3rd. The awards ceremony took place at the Bled Rose Hotel, in Slovenia following the Keep IT Simple 2024 conference, which focuses on
automation and digitalization in logistics and production.
This prestigious recognition highlights the transformative impact of the Real-Time Visibility Control Tower, an innovative transport management solution that has revolutionized logistics operations at La Poste France. The project showcases not only cutting-edge technological advancements but also a significant leap forward in operational efficiency, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
The Award of the Audience for Best Presentation goes to Żabka Polska Sp.z o.o
Their project was about “Automated Logistics in Żabka – Modern Logistics solutions for operational efficiency and sustainable development”
The “ELA Awards”- Project of the year is not restricted to manufacturing or commercial enterprises. Nominations are welcomed from the manufacturing sector, commercial enterprises, the service sector, the armed forces, the public sector or any logistics organisation. The Awards covers a large scope and achievement may be demonstrated by the integration or redesign of logistics functions by the innovative use of technology.

ELA Award 2022, Project of the Year goes to: Socamil E.Leclerc / Witron France
The winner of Rois de la Supply Chain 2022, the most prestigious logistics prize in France, from the “Supply Chain Magazine”.
The award was given for the fully automated omnichannel / multi-temperature distribution center in Calstelnaudery and was designed and implemented by the logistics lifetime partner WITRON. The core innovation is the world debut FPM (Flow Picking Machinery), a fully automated “flow-through warehouse” for the complete range of fresh and ultra-fresh products. FPM was described by the jury as a paradigm shift in the supply chain of French fresh produce logistics.

ELA Award 2021 for Project of the Year goes to: dm drogerie markt GmbH + Co. KG, Germany
For the project ”Innovative retail logistics at dm | Integrative. Intelligent. Automated” dm drogerie markt GmbH + Co. KG received already from BVL, Germany the Logistics Award in 2020. Now they are the winner of the Award 2021, handed over by the European Logistics Association.
The project deals with reduction in overall logistics expenditure of over 7 million euros p.a., lighter workload for store employees of more than 50,000 hours p.a., reduction in the weight lifted in manual picking of more than 50,000 tons p.a., decrease in transport volume of roughly 1.8 million truck kilometres p.a., increasing capacity by implementing new technology in the DC world.
ELA Award 2021 from the audience for Best Presentation of the Year goes to O’Logistique-Groupe Casino-Monoprix France
For the project “Changing the face of e-commerce logistics, when a leading French food retailer meets the top British online grocery player”.
It is a collaborative project dealing with disrupting the French grocery e-commerce market by developing the fastest growing logistic company, based on the state-of-the-art technology developed by Groupe Casino’s partner, Ocado.

ELA Award 2020 for "Project of the Year" goes to LOXXESS AG, Germany.
“SMILE – Smart and Innovativ – Logistics for eCommerce Project”: LOXXESS AG is the winner of the Award 2020, awarded by the European Logistics Association. The award was presented during the first online event ever. LOXXESS AG already received Germany’s logistics award from BVL, the country’s logistics federation, at the end of 2019.
The project deals with Process Optimization, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Innovation-Management as an Enabler for eCommerce Growth.
ELA Award 2020 from the audience for Best Presentation of the Year goes to INTERLOG GROUP, France.
MG2+ is a collaborative project with four competing manufacturers (Carambar&Co, Cémoi, Ferrero, and Mondelez) and two logistics providers (Interlog Logistic and FM Logistic) with a common objective to reduce the number of trucks on the roads and gas emissions.
This innovative process of EDI pooling can mutualize trucks for the retailers and other distribution channels. This process aligns the orders of a retailer with the same delivery date for all four manufacturers in the pool.
It is well suited for retail companies that do not work in shared VMI. This collaboration is made possible thanks to the management of the EDI pooling process by Interlog Logistic control tower with the support of a dedicated software.

ELA Award 2019 for the “Project of the year” goes to KOMSA, Germany
RELOAD – Digitization of intralogistics. The main goals of the project were to increase capacities, increase performance (quality and speed) and decrease logistics costs. Shortest distances, smallest area, greatest performance Brussels: The KOMSA Group is the winner of the European Logistics Award 2019, awarded by the European Logistics Association. The award ceremony took place at the gala evening in Brussels on 23 May 2019. This comes on the heels of KOMSA winning the German Award for Supply Chain Management in 2018, bestowed by the German Logistics Association (BVL).
ELA Award 2019 for the “Professional of the year” goes to Konstantinos Cholevas, Greece
A highly skilled professional in supply chain solutions and SAP project management with focus on performance optimization, process re-engineering, solution design and implementation. His notable career path in Lafarge Greece, and subsequently in LafargeHolcim (LH) Group, is paved with excellent results in all areas of the business.
One of the recent highlights in his career is the development of a new global export platform of added value product and services of LH Group by designing a Global Supply Chain that extends from the exports’ plants to the final drilling site and engages a global network of cooperation partners in the destination countries.
