France Supply Chain by Aslog: Circularity as a strategic solution for mitigating Supply Chain Risks
At a recent meeting of France Supply Chain by Aslog’s Risk Community, experts discussed how circular supply chain practices can actively mitigate supply chain risks in today’s volatile geopolitical, environmental and regulatory landscape.
The exchange underlined Europe’s strong dependence on external raw materials and why moving beyond the linear “take–make–dispose“ model is becoming essential. Circular approaches — from reuse and repair to recycling and closed-loop systems — are already helping companies secure supplies, stabilise costs, anticipate regulation and reduce reputational risk.
Examples from Orange, Renault Group and Decathlon showed how circularity can turn vulnerabilities into real drivers of resilience and competitiveness.
