Slovenian Logistics Association – Logistics Congress 2026

Slovenian Logistics Association – Logistics Congress 2026
Connect. Innovate. Lead. Logistics as a strategic force in a changing world
(8–10 April 2026 | Portorož, Slovenia)
When supply chains change overnight, the old playbook stops working. What makes the difference then is agility, connectivity and the practical use of technology. That is the thinking behind Logistics Congress 2026, which will bring together 800+ decision-makers, managers, innovators and researchers from 25+ countries in Portorož from 8 to 10 April 2026. Organised by the Slovenian Logistic Association and supported by ELA, the Congress is built around the issues that matter most now: global shifts and their impact, technology modernisation in practice, and the people and success stories behind leading logistics companies.
For the European logistics community, the value of the Congress lies in who it brings together. It connects industry leaders, supply chain managers, transport and logistics providers, technology experts, researchers, and national associations in one place — creating space for practical discussion, exchange of experience, and stronger cooperation across borders.
The programme opens with The Future of Logistics, a plenary centred on where supply chains are heading and how Europe can respond through closer cooperation across industry, start-ups, research and technology. Sessions from MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, Alba Wheels Up International and the Open Logistics Foundation will look at integrated logistics, global change, resilience, interoperability and new forms of collaboration across European supply chains.
A major part of the Congress is the Artificial Intelligence Festival, which keeps the conversation grounded in real operations. The programme includes practical cases from Motorola Solutions and Belgrade Airport, Pošta Slovenije and Solvesall, Adria Mobil, Mission Control AI, and BMW’s Munich plant, alongside a round table on how to select, start and run AI implementation projects. For logistics leaders, that makes the value of the session clear: it is about what works, what does not, and how to move from interest to execution.
The Congress also creates room for applied research and future talent. The International Academic Symposium brings in topics such as AI, blockchain and robotics in supply chains, while the international student hackathon brings together mixed teams to solve real industry challenges. That mix of practice, research and fresh thinking is one of the event’s real strengths: it reflects how logistics actually moves forward.
On the second day, the plenary We Have Succeeded. How Did We Achieve This? will bring together growth stories from companies including Nelt, BTC Logistics Centre, T.L. Sirk, Milšped and ENNA Logic. It is followed by IoT in Industry and Logistics, a session focused on what technology adoption looks like in real operations. Among the featured cases are Strauss, where COO Matthias Fischer will share how the company halved lead times and doubled productivity, and Intersocks, presenting its logistics transformation with AutoStore and a semi-automated high-bay warehouse. Additional contributions from Incom, GS1 Slovenia and BTC Logistics Centre will highlight the role of standardised data and better visibility in modern logistics.
Alongside this, the Congress also hosts the returning TelematicsCEEurope Conference & Expo, which comes back after a multi-year break under the umbrella of the Congress.
The wider platform includes B2B Matchmaking, designed for more focused one-to-one meetings, and a broader congress format that combines global trends, practical case studies, digital solutions, the academic symposium, the hackathon and TelematicsCEEurope in one place. In that sense, Portorož offers more than another conference. It offers a place to compare approaches, strengthen relationships across borders, and return home with ideas that can be applied in practice.
