ELA Members are involved in a wide range of academic and industry research work and we are proud to host both a Doctoral Workshop in conjunction with the Kühne Foundation and the ELA Research Conference.
This year’s ELA Research Conference will be held in collaboration with the Slovenian Logistics Association (SLA). Researchers, scholars, and industry are cordially invited experts to present their scientific research results at the International Logistics Congress in Portorož, Slovenia from 8th – 10th April 2026
This year’s theme reflects one of the most dynamic shifts in the logistics and supply chain domain: the growing influence of artificial intelligence (AI) on competitiveness, innovation, and resilience.
The 30th annual ELA Doctorate Workshop will take place from 24-27th June 2026 and will be hosted by the TU Dublin, Faculty of Business, School of Business Technology, Retail, and Supply Chain.
Lecturers in Logistics and Supply Chain are invited to propose one doctoral student from their university, who could contribute to this workshop with an interesting doctoral research project across the fields of logistics in the broadest sense.
